The drive supports the broadest range of rectifier configurations - 6, 12, 18, and 24 pulses - enabling precise alignment with harmonic mitigation needs. This flexibility removes the necessity for specialized “clean power” or phase-shifting cabinets when a standard multi-pulse setup fully covers the application.

The AK06 UD is engineered for maximum serviceability: every module is easy to access, replace, and maintain during installation, operation, and repair. When rapid recovery and simple field maintenance matter more than footprint, this design becomes the clear choice.
The AK06 UD uses an isolated air-to-air heat exchanger that prevents outside contaminants from reaching the power electronics.
With NEMA 4 and NEMA 4X enclosures in carbon or stainless steel, the UD is built for severe onshore and offshore conditions. This higher protection level surpasses NEMA 3R designs, offering superior resistance to water ingress, corrosion, and aggressive weather.

The AK06 UD supports high-speed Permanent Magnet Motors with output frequencies up to 600 Hz, enabling applications that standard drives cannot reach. This capability is crucial for advanced submersible pumping systems requiring fast, efficient, high-frequency motor control.
